Bellingham Historic Home Tour
This past weekend the Eldridge neighborhood in Bellingham held their annual Historical Home Tour with six Victorican era homes held open to the public. Three of the homes this year were new for the tour and brought some added excitement.
The homes on display were built between 1889 and 1929 with an array of architecture representing historic times in Bellingham's history. Some of the homes included a 1924 Craftsman style home, a Victorian on Cherry Street, a Henry Street Victorian cottage, to a grand American Foursquare-style home, as well as a historical background of Elizabeth Park and its gazebo.
The proceeds of the historical tour goes towards the neighborhoods annual summer music concert series. It was reported that the tour had about 250 people attend the event this past weekend.
