Bellingham Homes Sales Still Strong
Residential-home sales remain strong in Bellingham, while condominiums have fallen off last year’s pace, according to a report from First American Title.
There were 1,053 new and used homes sold in Bellingham in the first seven months of 2007, which is 20 more than the same period in 2006. The number of condominiums sold through July in Bellingham was 326, down from 418 during the same period last year.
First American Title looks at all property sales when generating the report.
Residential sales in other parts of the county are down significantly. In Ferndale, Lynden and Blaine, 830 singlefamily homes were sold through July, down from 915 for the same period last year. The number of condominium units sold was 148 this year, up from 130 last year.
