Birchwood Development Meeting Delayed
A public meeting for a proposed development in the Birchwood neighborhood has been canceled and has yet to be rescheduled.
Several landowners and residents in the neighborhood are proposing a pedestrianfriendly village-like development called Birchwood Green, which would be constructed just west of Birchwood Elementary School. They originally intended to hold a meeting with neighbors at the elementary school Thursday, but the cost of insurance for the facility was too high, said Nick Hartrich, a project proponent.
Backers are working to reschedule the meeting.
