NARdi Gras in New Orleans Going Strong
The National Association of Realtors Convention being held in New Orleans, LA this year is now in full swing. The biggest days of this annual event start tommorrow with about 30,000 Realtors from across the nation in attendance. Here's whats going on with this year's Nardi Gras schedule of events.
As a Realtor, I've been to several of these NAR events over the last 14 years. with my location on the west coast I tend to wait until I'ts held in San Francisco, CA or Las Vegas, NV. The one in San Francisco is usually held at the Moscone Center in the downtown area. If you've never been to an NAR Convention , I would highly recommend for all Realtors to attend one. There is so much to learn in the tons of classes and seminars that are offered, plus a huge trade show that's absolutely incredible in size and depth.
Since I'm not attending this years convention, I've been following along on a few of the blogs from the convention. One of the blogs is run by Dustin Luther from Move.com blog, the successful blogger who started the RainCityGuide.com site in Seattle, WA. The other blog I'm following is put on by the NAR and is called NAR Blogs in Real Estate.
The NARdi Gras convention is offering a couple classes on Blogging for Realtors business and this year's trade show has several vendors that relate to the blog business. I'll be interested to see what comes out of this year's convention so I can apply the knowledge to my business blog at Northwest Living.
